Just wondered How many Cichlids could I have in a 125 litre tank?

What type of cichlids? The word cichlids covers many very different species.

Most probaly Malawian.. i dont know alot about cichlids as iam not thinking off setting 1 up anytime soon but just wondered .. also can malawian and Tanganyika be mixed together ?

Probably one of the best Rift Lake Cichlids to start with are Neolamprologous Brichardi. You can keep a small group and they will raise their offspring in the tank.

For a 1st Malawi tank I would start with a tank twice the size.

For a tank that size I can recommend Ps saulosi. They are a dwarf mbuna with blue males with black stripes and yellow females.
