What is the best bottom feeder for planted tank? I don’t want some one pulling my plants out and I do have a lot of plants in the water.
Thank you

Are you running CO2? Ferts?
What type of algae?
IMO it's best to find the root of the problem and not mask it with a fish who could very well end up contributing to the problem.

What are your 8 fish? That could make a big difference.

I second that. Otos are another good option, small size and will clean plants off too.

I agree with needing more specific info about stocking. Amano shrimp and nerite snails work in many tanks. I also agree with Pappy that getting a fish to get rid of algae isn't a long term solution. If the root of the algae problem isn't found, adding more fish/critters could exacerbate the problem.
