i did a small water change last night and did a 15gallon water change this morning.just a litte while ago i went to check out my CB and the ich is gone and he is back to stuffing himself on algae and such from the LR. I cant believe i spazzed out last night when i have realized the problem was me. i didnt take into account that he eats alot in the tank and then with me feeding him twice a day he is dropping too much waste. so im gonna call this one OVERFEEDING. and from now on do you think it would be alright to feed him every other day or even less since he eats all day long?

thx
mike

Nope, you still need to feed him at least once a day. Twice a day is finr as well but you may need to re think the amount that you feed. I also doubt the ich is gone but has either gone into a free floating stage or it has been supressed with the CB in better conditions.

One rule for ich that I have created and always live by is: "If you find the cause, you will find the cure".

How to do what without a mess, frozen?

You should get use to feeding frozen foods as flakes are just not enough. Flakes are OK to supliment but not to use as a staple. You also dont want to use just brine or mysis either. You need to provide a varied diet for good health

i normally feed frozen(a few different kinds on different days) in the morning and flake in the evening. my problem is with the angel only eating the tiniest pieces of frozen and letting everything else hit the bottom. with my triggers i just throw the cube in and it is gone in about a minute.the problem i have is if i put to little in he doesnt see it in time and once it hits the bottom hes not interested.he loves prime reef and will not let a flake hit the bottom. i plan on getting some scavengers soon to help with this. i am just not experienced with the finnicky eaters yet.
this is the chubbiest CB i have ever seen though.

thx
