I've bought API Aquarium Salt, and I'd like to know how much to add to the tank, how large of a water change I should do and how often, and what I should set the temperature at. This Ich outbreak is fairly new, just noticed it today.

Tank Size: 28 gallon bowfront.
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrates: 10-20
Temperature: ranges between 78 and 85 without a heater.
Previous Illness: One female betta with fin rot. She's recovering well with water changes.
Time: Tank has been set up for roughly a month. Cycled before fish were added.
Inhabitants: 11 Cherry Barbs, 5 Peppered Corys, 1 Female Betta.
Deaths: This morning I found my sixth Peppered Cory dead sucked to the intake of my second filter. He had no signs of Ich or other disease, but had a large wound on his underside. He was the smallest Cory.

Sorry to hear about your problem Z. Your parameters look good. The temp swings seem to be the only thing that might cause a problem. Unless your betta is causing some issue with aggression. Is she healed up pretty much? Here is a link for you

Hopes this helps and best of luck.
