im telling you its that stupid *** thread where the whole dilemma with the zoanthids being put into freshwater. He said he doesnt want to be part of a forum that allows that stuff to go down and since then i havent seen him. He was a huge part of my reefing experience and i really hope he comes back cause i hold his advise very very high in regards.
I hope maybe hes just taking a break to get his 75gal back on track or hes just been to busy and he comes back soon as well.. cause ive been asking where he was the past few threads ive posted myself haha
Funny you should ask, Amphi... I was wondering that myself over the weekend.

10k mh grows coral better than 20k even though ive never had mh or grown coral in my life!

pffftttt...DoctaQ.....I shall start a thread about all those reefers not using crushed coral are doomed to fail......

haha, LEDs will never work!
ok DoctaQ, your calls worked! LOL. I admit, you nailed me with those. :D
But for the record, last year I think I stated I didn't think LEDs were quite there yet in terms of replacing MH and still a few years away, today I take back that statement as LED progress has been very rapid in the last year. As of today I say current high output LEDs are certainly a viable alternative to MH and T5HO lighting. ;)
Also.. been working on my tank still.. what a royal PITA it has been.. costing a small fortune just to get it stable again. I think it would have been cheaper if I tossed out all the rocks and sand and started over at this point.. but I am just about at the end of all the problems I feel... 9 months later.. but I still have all my fish and I am happy about that. Beyond that, had a few very big whammys come up in my personal life that I had to deal with.. still dealing actually.. so really not had much time for forums.

sadly all your sps is in a friends tank atm. it wasnt doing well in mine but hes telling me it IS growing like crazy so id love for you too see your babies within the next month.
