I just can't figured out what happened today. Water suddenly got cloudy overnight, almost my entire colony of Limia got knocked out and the remaining few don't look too well either, many of the snails are either closed up or heading up the walls like they want out..

All parameters checked in normal, pH 7.2, 0-0-5. The only thing that was out of the norm was a rise of temperature last night to about 90 (back down to 80 now), but I just can't see that being the reason. Anyone have any ideas?

Maybe a sudden drop in O2. Did the coudy water clear up quickly or does it still remain (i.e a heterotrophic bloom)?

From a tinted white to a milky white today, but it looks like I found my culprit. 0-1-5, it's nitrites! It looks like ammonia is still being handled, but the bacteria that turns the nitrites to nitrates probably crashed somehow.

Doing water changes, treating with Prime, seems like my only option ATM. Amazing thing about the water change is that the shrimp actually perched themselves on top of the rocks and stayed out of the water.
