Dissappearing GBR

I bought a couple GBR last week, one died and the other was fine. Before I left work I fed the remaining one some frozen brine shrimp and he ate fine and kept swimming around like any normal fish. After I got home from work, 7 hours later, the was no sign of him. I checked everywhere in the tank and even around it. I don't really understand where he went. Are GBR jumpers? If anyone has any clue as to what the hell happened, that would be awesome.

nvm... i have no clue how the hell i missed him. he must be magic or i'm just dumb...

I have had a couple of fish vanished in the past without any trace. And they are big fish like around 3 inches.
One time I had a 3in jewel disappeared. I turned the whole tank upside down, cleaned up the surrounding area, unplugged and flushed the filters. I could not find it.
I have no idea.

Just an fyi, pretty much all fish have the capability of jumping out...glad you found him though!

I never see mine if they jump out. I have 4 cats that beat me to them.
