How fast do balas grow they're in a 25 gal. going to buy atleast a 70 gall for them in a month or two

I bought mine when he was 4 inches. That was about 8 months ago. He is now 6 inches. So relativly speaking, they grow slow, but I'm used to oscars, arowanas, and plecos, which grow much faster. He is in a 150 and he will grow to be 12-16 inches. A 75 is fine if it's just one bala and say a knife fish, any more than that, plan on a bigger tank. They will grow very large. Also, make sure there are no open areas for them to jump out, they love to jump.
