The fish I have in the tank are 4 Black Tetras, 4 Cherry Barbs, 3 Guppies, 2 Bronze Corydoras, and 1 Columbian Shark. With ick

If you mean that your tank has ick there are several types of medication out there but before you try that give the tank a really good cleaning and raise the water temp 2-4 deg F for a few days.

Sorry, didn't see the ick part, long day. :rolleyes: There are very good ick medications available. Raising the temp will help. Marcydal makes very good products and I've never been disappointed. Make sure you take out all the carbon and do exactly as it states, water changes, etc. Vacum the gravel really good, and if you have more than one tank do not use the same equipment in all your tanks as the parasite can be transfered by nets, vacums, etc. The corys and the shark are fragile so maybe go with half dosages. Too much can harm them as I found out with some decesed pictus cats. It will take a good 2 weeks for the ick to clear out, so keep the treatments up, even if it looks as though it is gone. The parasite goes in stages of 3-4 days and if you don't keep it up, ick can come back very quick. Good Luck.
