About 2 months ago I got myself a Royal Gramma. This fish is a beautiful addition to my tank, seems very healthy, eats like a pig, looks good, friendly. I have read in a book that one can keep up to half a dozen in a 75 gallon tank, they like to have an overhang and caves. And they are also supposed to be hardy. Right now my tank is 200 gal, have 1 clarkii, 2 damsels, and the Royal Gramma. Guess I am a believer in not stocking my tank to high. Just a few healthy fish is just as good as more is my thinking. Besides the live rock is great.
I am wanting to possibly purchase maybe about 4 or 5 more (Grammas). So I just thought I should ask if that sounds OK to the more experienced reef keepers here or anyone with experience with these fishes. Are they as hardy as I think? I read they like to be in groups.
