my last male guppy died 1 month ago, so I figured the 2 females wouldn't give birth when 2 weeks went by. To my amazment just now, I found my gourami chasing around what appeared to be a fly zipping around oh the surface, a closer look I saw it was a baby! I found 5 more in the corner and quickly put them into the breeder net in the same tank with some plants on bottom. They must of just been born, luckily I found them! Now what do I do and what do I feed:confused: Also how quickly will they grow, and do I need to take any measurements to care for them?

here's a decent source for caring for baby guppies...I've never had any survive 'til I found them, but I had always planned on trying the crushed flake food method.

just feed them some crushed flakes, and relax guppies are easy to raise. in about six weeks they will be large enough to relase into the tank.

Hi!

The females can store the males sperm for longer then 3 weeks (I dont know how long.. I forgot..longer then 3 weeks though). So expect them to give birth again..Just watch the mom!

make that 9 safe babies after this morning. She still has a gravid spot, although not nearly as dark. Does this still mean they're babies in her?
