I was wondering if anyone knows what plant this is? I bought it at Petco but it was just listed as a misc plant.

Here's a pic of something that at first I thought might be a flower that hasn't bloomed but now it looks like a small Japanese eggplant. It fell off of one of the stems.

Anyone want to at least venture a guess? Thanks!

looks like a sword leaf stricta? haha that would be my guess
They look like Amazon Sword leaves, but if it were a sword the leaves would be coming from a crown, which your plant doesn't appear to have. More stem-like.
Looks like leaf nodes about 1" above the substrate.

To me it looks like pieces cut off a flower stem on an amazon sword. Mine flowered then produced plantlets at each node along the flower stem.

I think that stuff is giant hygro. The local chain stores carry it all the time here too. It was probably grown emersed, and was about the flower, but submerging it killed the flower.
I've never bought any of it, though I've been tempted since it's only a couple bucks. If it grows well for you, maybe I'll get some. Keep us posted.
