Hello everyone,
I just purchased four juvenile L066 from Aquabid and was looking for a little information about them. I have done some research on them and it is my understanding that they grow appox. 4.7", need a carnivorous diet, prefer softer water with temps between 78-84f with some current, are shyer than some plecos and prefer dimmer lighting, and can become territorial therefor there must be at least one cave per pleco. My question to all of you is, what size aquarium would you recommend housing them in, are they fast or slow growing, and is there any problem housing more than one male per aquarium? Any other information about them would be appreciated as well. I am very excited about receiving these plecos (I asked for them to be shipped next week due to the temperatures in my area) and want to be prepared for them. Thanks in advance to anyone who helps contribute to this thread.

Kalen your best bet is to go to planetcatfish.com and plecoworld.org. Two fantastic, information sites dedicated to plecos and catfish. Good luck. We'd love to see pics of your new babies!

It's Kalen, actually (I'm the bearded one in my avatar haha). Thanks for your kind words though, If nothing else comes up on here I will try over at planetcatfish. Oh, and of course I will be sure to post pictures once I receive them.
