pretty excited about these! I NEVER do loaches, but these were too cute to resist.

oh man. Awesome little critters. My tank matches their conditions... but, sadly, I better not (unless you want to tell me they're captive bred? ;) )

Strange coincidence, I put them on a shortlist of fish I'm considering for a new tank a few days ago.

Those are one of my favorite loaches. Their startled expression and stripes make me think of prison chain gangs in goofy old B&W comedies. From my mother's generation not mine, just so you know, lol!

A silly reason to love a fish, I know.

they are yunnilacus cruciatus, they should stay under 1.5" I believe. I haven't kept them previously but had to have them when I saw their picture on the import list. I put a link with more information in the opening post. They are just tooooo cute!

Whoo hoo! Way to go MsJ. I'm thinking my kuhli tank could use some new cute friends. How many are you getting...& when? Any more cute rasboras like brigettae? Please let me clean out my Q tank before you run out.

I am also bringing in some other neat fishes, we will see what all shows up that I ordered! I will pick them up sunday evening :)

Fantastic :D They look like a mix of dwarf chain and kuhli loaches...

So I've got to ask...why the loachaphobia, Rachel? ;) They seem like fish that would be right up your alley!

The way loaches like kuhlis move give me the total heeby jeebies and I don't keep any that would eat invertebrates. It limits the choices, lol.

I have sids too though

Striped kuhlis have a bad shipping reputation too but there's lots of loaches
