Well i finally emptied out my bio cube today and cleaned everything up (including my mess off a room).
Was looking at all the equipment i have.. which is actually everything.. including lights, heater, reefkeeper, sand, protien skimmer for BC, and even a AC fuge i can use for keeping starfish
So heres whats gonna happen. Going to make it a species tank, with none other then my favorites on earth the harlequin shrimp. no fish or corals will be in this tank. just the harlequins rock, and a big ball of fresh cheato.
Ill keep starfish in the fuge that way i can constantly feed them and with no fish or corals they can eat and be as messy as they would like to be without harming anything. Keeping them alive longer then 6 monthes in the goal here and with nothing else in the tank to sketch them out and good water quality i think i can meet my goal. Could care less if they breed
need to find a way to get the powerbrites positioned over the tank. think i have an idea involving PVC, once i figure it out its as simple as buy live rock and finding healthy harlequin pair
Greatest part about all of this.. not a single thing from my big tank will be used and nothing will be transferred.. LIKE *$*$*$* DINO.
Some pics the equipment(and of my little work shelf.. which you shouldve seen before *disgusting*), ill update when i get the tank set back up within the next week or so.. we all know im a lazy guy who takes his sweet time.
