Has anybody had sucess with kepping plants with convicts? if so what plants because i read that that eat everything.

I had convicts in one of my planted tanks...they never really ate the plants, they just uprooted and destroyed them in every way possible. The best thing i found was anarchis...they had a tough time ripping leaves off of it, but the trick was to keep it anchored down. I found/bought small rocks with holes in them and put the anarchis through the holes and then stuck them down in the gravel and for the most part they stayed longer. But they destroyed my java moss, fern, pothos, and jungle val.

ive seen man-made rocks that got holes in the bottom for plants to be planted in so that the roots arnt eaten up or the plat gets uprooted. ive heard they work pretty good too.
