after some searching in the forums

ive still not seen anything about the "definitive" dosing recommendation

specifically, how does using one large fert dose each week differ from using small portions each day ?

there was one reference to dosing daily as "better for the plants" in the forums

right now i am dosing each day,

for example,
with potassium in my 37g, a dose of 7.5ml 5 days a week will total 20ppm

is this the recommended method ?

thanks for helping make aquariacentral.com such a great resource

Some ferts definitely stay in the water table longer than others.
K and N can be dosed once or twice(better) a week. I dose P twice a week because I like to keep my dosages of this element small.
Traces, IME work better when dosed two or three times a week.
But Fe is definitely more effective when dosed daily. I have notice dramatic differences, especially in Cryptocoryne after going to daily Fe dosages.
