Dojo loaches and ick

So I bought two new dojo loaches for my coldwater tank and now some of the goldfish came down with ick.

I have treated ick with salt and high temps, but the tank is a little crowded and I don't want to add a heater and cut down on O2 in the water.

If I remember correctly, dojo loaches do not like ick medications. Does anybody have any recommendations?

I had good results with Seachem ParaGuard. I had read some reports that it might be a gentler choice for fish like Dojos, and that certainly seemed to be the case for me.

Just the same, it's good to carefully monitor for problems while dosing any new medication.
