Dark Brown Spots on Black kuhli loach??

Hey, i just noticed dark brown splotches on one of my black kuhli loaches, i have been treating ich with a dissolved water mix, i dont know itf that is it or not, but i can only see it on that one, please help.

What is a "dissolved water mix" exactly?

sorry, i put 1 tbsp of table salt per gallon into a milk jug full of tank water, dissolve it, and put in 1/4 every 3-4 hours

I think that ich presents as small distinctly white spots, not just spots of lighter color.

Really gonna need pics to help you diagnose the problem.

Could they be juveniles? I think some loach species develop color patters with maturity -- and also that the stripe pattern can change on some kuhlis. Maybe someone else can shed some light on this for you.

alright well, ill try but that guy is sooooo hard to catch on camera its not even funny, and its a black kuhli loach, and those guys dont get the patterns like a regular kuhli, and ya so i really dont know whats up.

So you are sure you have ich, looks like salt sprinkled on the fish? And the dark splotches are new since adding the salt? I'm not sure I understand...How long have you had salt in the tank? That's a pretty high dose rate for "scaleless" salt-sensitive fish but it's good you added it gradually.

i know its ich, and i saw him for like a few seconds, and i just dont know. Ive had salt for about 4 days.
