So a few days ago i noticed that my calico koi angels laid eggs on the intake of my canister filter that is hooked up to the tank. I woke up this morning to find them hatched and about 100-150 little itty bitty babies clumped around the orniment thats in there. I cut the power to the canitser filter in there and put in a sponge filiter because i know that angels are a turblulance sensitive fish. However i dont know much in the care of taking care of the baby angels. Do i need to remove them so they dont get eaten by the parents. If so how big of a tank should i put them in? If not how long do i leave them in with the parents? Why kind of food should i be feeding them. Is there any trace element or mineral i should add to the water? There is one bulldog pleco in the tank as well, should i remove him? The parents are super agressive now i got bit a few times putting in the sponge filter. Any other infromation i should know from any of you that have had experiance with this would be much appreciated. Pics will be coming soon to!!!

Leave them in there :) now that they have hatched most will survive. They feed on their egg sacks for a few days but then on micro organisms. But try feed them baby brine shrimp and crushed food (flake etc). No minerals needed. Goodluck!! And congrats!!! :)
