I got a ? for you guys...I'm sick of the pinkish cast my fluorescent hoods give off and I'm tired of toying with light spectrums and new hoods...Ive got a double 48'' fluorescent and a single 2x24''er, and all those strips makes my tank look ugly from afar :p ...I want to get a sleek new PC and a canopy for my 75 gallon tank and I think I found on worth getting:

http://www.bigalsonline.com/ (click either country, and see the third special on the front page; CustomSeaLife SmartLite PC Strip- 48")

2x65 watts would not be much more power than the current 120 or so watts I'm using now but PC's give off more light, correct? And the spectrum they come with is I believe one 6500K and one 50/50 actinic, which I am told is a good natural look. I have no problem buying new bulbs, but my main concern is, will this PC hood give off more light than I have now? Cuz its such a good deal I'd love to grab it...I wanna reall ybring out the color on my africans! Thx for your replies. :D

Yep, PC's put out more light than NO. The spectrum is good--though you may find the actinic light too blue. I run the same setup with one 10,000 and one 5600. I really like it.
