I know what you're thinking...it's that EOD guy (David) again posting ANOTHER thread! I've been bored tonight and consuming my time with my fish. Now that I've had the 40Gallon for a while the fish are feeling at home and the angelfish is finally getting active but he/she is now chasing other fish and I'm worried it might try to eat some of them or at least fin nip. I've uploaded some videos to Flickr and I'm going to do my best to post them here so you can see. What can I do about this besides obviously putting the angelfish in its own (nonexistent) tank?

Try going to above link.
Apparently flickr videos don't post well here so from now on I'll upload them to youtube. (plus my iphone has a youtube link...dunno why i used flickr)

How long has the tank been set up? Was the angel the last fish you put in the tank? Are any of the other fish that the angel is chasing around small enough to fit in its' mouth?

The angel could be trying to establish a territory. One of my angels would chase others around, but only if there was 'new guy" in the tank. It has to show them who's boss! :)

After looking at the video... that looks like like some typical angel behavior to me. Just a quick charge at the fish, and then nothing. My angels tend to do that right after feeding time.

The other fish will be fast enough to escape. Though the long finned Black Skirts might do damage to themselves darting into decorations.

Thank you. I figured the angelfish was just exhibiting dominance. I bought the angelfish along with most of the other fish that are in the tank so they all know each other and have been tank mates for what the owner said was 2 years. When I asked him if the angelfish was aggressive towards the others, he said yes but they out run him. I figured that was an ignorant answer but I guess it works out.
