I just got 2 ACF and was wondering what kind of fish i could put in with them they are about 1 to 1.5" long now going to put them in a 10 gal. I read that they don't like filters so i wasn't going to put one in. should I put one in if I have other fish in with them? Or should i put them in my 25 gal tank? How often should I feed them? Any other info would be great.:)

Do you mean aDf, or ACF like you said? ACF's eat fish and will claw at fish many times larger than themselves and shouldnt really be kept with fish at all. They also get to be about 6 inches....a 10g is barely enough to keep one, let alone 2.

Thats an ADF - African DWARF frog. They dont get bigger than 1.5" and they are harmless. ACF's are mean and big.

Btw, I'd use a filter on their tank, and lots of hiding spaces. Plus the tank NEEDS to be COMPLETELY covered. The WILL jump:shake:

Do a search for ADF and yuo'll get a lot of info...I think there are a few threads running right now abuot them and feeding them.

If its front foot is webbed, its a dwarf frog. If it isn't, its a clawed frog.

im sure your talking about the drawfs, ive had both and the clawed were big! i kept them in a koi pond. keep the drawfs in with top swimming fish and make sure the frogs get enough to eat because they are slow and have poor vision.

Definately make sure which size you have! :) As for fish with African Clawed frogs, ( not dwarf), you can keep certain fish with them. I've had large goldfish with mine at one time. Athough you must make sure to keep things clean--goldfish are DIRTY although will eat shedded frog skin:sick: ) But at the moment I have my mature pair in a large tank with 2 large Silver Dollars and a 5" Two-spot catfish. They all get along very well without any hassles. The Silvers and the catfish are aggressive enough to handle them.
