Attention all AquariaCentral.com guys, ghouls, ghosts, goblins, witches and zombies! Fall is in the air and Halloween is right around the corner. In honor of this most ghoulish of fall holidays, we are sponsoring a new contest.

Its time for all of you to tap into your creative side and create your most terrifying jack-o’-lantern ever! Go to your local market and pick up a pumpkin and get carving your own original design!

Submit your picture to accontest@aquariacentral.com (contest@aquariacentral.com) and let the mayhem begin! Grand prize will be awarded to the winning pumpkin following a member voting period. Please see below for all contest rules and regulations. Happy Halloween and good luck!

Requirements:

All entries must be original work completed by the AC member, NO pre-bought stencils please!
Participating members and staff must have a post count of 10 posts or higher to qualify for the contest.
to prove authenticity of the pumpkin, you will have to add the words "I love Hikari" somewhere on the pumpkin (either carve the letters or mark it with a marker).. Just a small little carving is fine, so your creative work isn't compromised.




Guidelines:


• We will ship the prize worldwide.

• Aquariacentral and any affiliated Aquariacentral sponsor(s) reserve the rights to deny or reject any participant. Only one number per member, no member is allowed to attempt registering under more than one member name/identity on Aquariacentral.

• In the case of Damage or Lost in the mail of a complimentary (free) raffle, there will not be a replacement prize.

• By entering this raffle, you are confirming and agree to have done in full - completely and comprehensively reviewed the terms/rules that apply and you have complied to hold no liability to either Aquariacentral or any of affiliated Aquariacentral sponsor(s) in violation of any State and/or Local law(s) in your Country/State (and/or within that Country/State).


• Members on "Probation" status or any member who registers under more than one name might not/will not be qualified to enter our Aquariacentral raffle(s). • To participate, a member must be 18 years old. Otherwise, a parent/legal guardian must enter for the member.
So if I were to submit one, I would have my parents vouch for me that I made it or what? (I'm 14)

No, I will double check. I think what we did last year was "assume" that if you were allowed to be a member, your parents would be aware of the contests. I will double check with the boss man and get back to you for sure.

no, only if you copy a template etc. As long as you are putting it on the pumpkin by yourself, you should be fine :)

Unfair. I was away on business travel and this pops up.

I just work with the man who has created the varieties of 75% of the pumpkins that you buy in the store. I've got access to 10 acres of pumpkins (including a couple over 500 lbs). He has all sorts of strange and unusual looking ones. The majority of these you'll never see anywhere else.

Now there is no time for me to go find one and carve it.

We'll boys and girls, I didn't have time to get out to the field to get a pumpkin and carve it today because:

I just accepted a job offer to be the Product Manager for Pumpkins, Cucumbers, and Watermelons. So.... Let me know what kind of pumpkin you want in the future if it's not completely retard, you might find it in a store near you in a few years..... Non-GMO and genetically possible only of course. :)

The good news is it's significant pay raise with very nice bonuses and even nicer pay raises in the future. If I don't fudge it up of course. Yep that 75 gallon corner tank in the family room is only a matter of time now... Then again I'm going to be sitting in a plane for 26 weeks out of the year now so I might not have time for them.
