Identification please

I am looking for the name of a pleco/algea eater I used to have about 15 yrs. ago. I thought the name of it was butterfly pleco but the research i find doesnt show what this looked like. It was flat like a flounder and small. No fins and soft feeling. It had two sections to its body and swam in the same manner as a sting ray ( rippled its sides to swim). It was always cleaning the glass and the decor. So any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

Sounds like a type of hillstream loach.
