would you trade a wingless fruit fly culture for maybe 2 bamboo shrimps? Been wanting a couple for a while. Please PM ME :)

msjinkzd
09-17-2010, 4:42 PM
i don't need any new cultures. I am afraid I would be one of the unlucky onesthat didn't cover the culture enough and would end up with a fishroom full of fruit flies!

DANG...that's what I figured, I am desperately wanting something for the bottom of my White Cloud tank since I NEVER see the Vespas that are in there.

We close on our house 10/22. So new fish at this time is a no go. However, when I will finally have the space for a proper fish room and will be interested in a special order of apistos Rach.

None that are sexed at all. The baby orange cacs are just over 1/4" and I see a pretty good mixof sexes, but they are pretty tiny still.

If those cacs are going to be triples, let me know and I may be able to buy a group of unsexed ones once they're big enough to ship

Could you get Brilliant Rasbora(Rasbora borapetensis)? They are such an under appreciated shoaling fish that look fabulous in groups. I picked up a dozen at a LFS which states they cannot get more in, Id really love to have another dozen for my 100G.

PM sent and praying you have pygmy corys left!
Petluvr-depending on your tank size the Peppered Corys would do great at that temp (I'm thinking....but now I'm going to go recheck that). And they're real pretty with their green highlights.
Edit: Do you have a cooler on that tank that makes it that cold?

No, I have White Clouds in the tank and let the temp rise and fall with the room temp. 65 is the coolest it gets, during the night, and about 72 is it's warmest during the day.

Rach, any apistos on the way?

msjinkzd
09-19-2010, 9:15 AM
nah, I don't have a qt available for a large group of apistos that I didn't breed myself.

I have phoenix rasboras coming in, rasbora rubescens, rummynose tetras, amanos, nerites(several species).

NONE of my shrimp came in, apparently there is a typhoon that interfered with shipping <harumph!>

Just got my box no less than half hour ago.....Excellent packaging! Incredible stock! The Betta Simplex pair look amazing already! I do have a few questions Rachel?...What kind of Rabbit snails did I get? LoL! Also they seem to have a few flat like white eggs hitching a ride with them? The eggs are kind of shaped like a mini "clam".Do you know what the eggs might be?

Can you possibly get a pair of Pelvichromis taeniatus (origin doesn't matter) or maybe a pair of Kribensis (Pelvichromis Pulcher).

Also, what are the smallest nerites you have right now and are you getting any either varieties soon?

Oh, and Betta simplex or Betta Picta.

msjinkzd
09-25-2010, 7:19 PM
The smallest nerites I have in are the green spikey, they are pea-ish sized.

As for kribs, not unless I get a LOT in and I don't foresee that happening.

I do have betta simplex with a male holding (fairly sure!)

OhNo123
09-25-2010, 7:28 PM
How many of the betta simplex do you have available?

EOD
09-26-2010, 12:05 AM
If you are still selling, I am interested. What kind of set up would you recommend for my 35g hex/sand/planted and 40g long?

Most likely if you have some good ideas I will order and then put them in because by the time the get here, my tanks will be cycled.

Please help the newb, i dont want to stupidly buy incompatible fish again and I trust you more than i would my LFS or PETCO or WALMART lol

msjinkzd
09-26-2010, 6:36 AM
