Now that my corkscrew vals are doing well, one of the original plants has several shoots off of it with new plants and a couple of the new plants have new plants off of them too! the original plant isn't sending up any more tall leaves so I can only guess this is from sending nutrients to the satellite plants. Should I just cut them off?

beviking.....now you've gone and done it.....from now on it's the attack of the killer Val. The stuff will be all over the place before you know it.:shake:
Yes, just pull up the little ones and trim off the feeder lines and re-plant. You'll be doing a lot of that shortly.

Thanks djlen! Glad to see you can find humor in my temporarily imagined success. I suppose it isn't a surprise to you that my Anacharis is growing like mad too? Maybe some plants should be followed with the letter "R" to denote that they "reproduce like rabbits"?:D
Well, one small step for me, even if it does mean that I'm making work for myself.
