Hey gang, finally found some cory hastatus. I've been looking for a loooong time for these. Last group I ordered, I ordered 20 and 2 ended up making it. This time, different vendor, and 19 out of the 20 survived ! And wouldn't you know, they have to hang out as far away in the 40 breeder as possible !! So here are a couple of quick pics, hopefully I'll get better ones in the near future. These arrived yesterday afternoon.

happypoet, they came from Brian at Corysrus. He did a great job packing them and they were here when he said they would be. I saw a lot of negative things about them, but if you check their AB feedback, there is nothing negative recently. This is the 2nd time I have bought from them and would not hesitate to do so again.

That's what I figured. I've noticed the same thing about their feedback; it's been trending up for quite a while. Good luck with them. I nearly bought some from him a while back, but then decided on some tank raised Pygmaeus. I'm glad I didn't get the Hastatus, as my Pygmaeus haven't done great (I lost about half of them).
Are you planning on trying to breed? PM me and let me know if you are. I have a ton of info I collected that I could send you.

hehe. That's because they're not rummys. They're Panda tetra - Aphyocharax paraguayensis. Hastatus mimic them and are known to school with them in the wild. I should have labelled them in my post above. Mea Culpa.

I see where you're going. They do look like rummys apart from the red nose...
