The prices do seem amazing. 800.00 dollars for a 340 gallon, 130 by 24 by 25.

I inquired about shipping, and if I have the tank shipped in it will add $120dollars this puts it in the renge of a couple of LFS's around here, but I can pick it up when I'm down that way working in a couple of weeks and save a whole bunch of money. Seems like the LFS's would jump on this bandwagon.

daveedka,
While I dont have personal experience with their tanks, I wish you could post something about it when you get it all set up. I have wondered about this company for a while and I can never been able to find anyone who actually purchased from them before.

if you pick it up at the shows and conventions they go to you dont have to pay shipping. i never had one but a couple people i know have some, i just dont like the small opening on top but will probably have to live with it and get one of their huge tanks.

JamesHoftiezer ordered his tank from Glasscages.com and he has been extremely pleased with how well it is built. You can see his Tank Journal here (http://aquabotanicwetthumb.infopop.cc/6/ubb.x?a=tpc&s=4006090712&f=8006023812&m=3296099912).

I was going to order a tank from glasscages.com but they don’t go to reptile shows in Colorado and shipping is way too expensive.

I'll be picking up my 115 in two weeks, I have to go to Nashville to get it. I am lucky because I'll be working in Louisville that week and won't have to drive all the way to Nashville on my own expense. I will say this, these guys are helpfull and very quick to answer inquries. If I e-mail them I get a response in less than 1 hour every time. I will send pictures and follow up comment when the tank is set-up.

Hey thanks for the link to glass cages I live just north of louisville so a trip down to nashville is no big deal.
I cant decide, either the 125 wide or the 135. But which ever one I chose I will be saving around $250.00 over the lfs price. Ye ha I cant wait! Tim

Yeah,
I just lucked into that site, and couldn't believe my eyes. I have made a decision to upsize my 55 to their 67 which is on the same footprint just 5" higher, I like the look of a tall tank, and my 55 is a yard sale job that I re-sealed years ago so a new tank for 100 bucks will make the place look nicer.

I think Im going to build my stand and save more. 250 wasnt a bad price but im pretty sure i can build one cheaper.
