Dr Ron Coleman
The Fish of Costa Rica
Dr Coleman is an Associate Professor at California State University, Sacramento and teaches courses on Ichthyology, Fisheries Biology, Animal Behavior and other related topics.
He spends several weeks each year studying and observing cichlids in the Rio Puerto Viejo in northeastern Costa Rica. This has given Ron the opportunity to study intensively the cichlid fishes found in a 1 km section of the Rio Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica.
COAST meetings are held at 1PM on the first Sunday of each month at:
COSTA MESA NEIGHBORHOOD COMMUNITY CENTER,
1845 Park Avenue, Costa Mesa California
