Is my Albino Cory obeses or pregnant!? he/she sits on the bottom with their rounded dark abdomen just resting. I didn't notice it before today, but he/she hasn't moved in a few hours. I feed brine shrimp ocassionaly, sinking pellets, and flake food. I hope I didnt overfeed into fatness. If anyone has any ideas let me know.

Lately, I've seen several cories that seem to have enormous rounded tummies--so much so that they can't rest flat on the bottom, but rather sort of roll. I don't know what it is--I suspect it's neither obesity nor being egg-heavy. I think it might be a virus of some kind, but have no proof of that. Make sure there's no pineconing, and that the fish is otherwise normal, but I wouldn't worry overly much.

I just noticed the rounded tummy, and yes, it seems like from what you guys said I am over feeding. I am feeding daily a sinking pellet for my cories and a sinking algae pellet for my pleco. This seems like a recent development, so I think I will wait on feeding for maybe every other day and see if it gets better. I have noticed it, although smaller, on my other albino cory as well. Just curious, what is pineconning and how can it be determined?
