powerhead comparisons

Could anyone recommend a good powerhead? Looking at a Drs. F&S catalog, and am trying to choose between three brands: Hagen Aquaclear; Maxi-Jet; and Penguin by Marineland. The prices of all three are comprable. I'm not even sure how many gph I should be looking into. I know that all my fish are from rivers, so I wanted some good currents in the tank.

I've got a 37g (30"x12"x22") planted tank with some driftwood
tiger barbs, 2 rosy barbs, bala shark, 3 plecos, and an albino rainbow shark.

I'm running a Whisper Power filter 60 along with a seperate sponge filter

I and most people on this forum recommend Maxi Jets, as they are time tested and are very reliable powerheads.

P.S. - Whatever you get, make sure it's not a RIO !!!!!

Thanks for the advice on the brand.
Now, what GPH would you recommend? I'd like a good current since my fish are all naturally found in rivers. but don't want anything that's too strong and is going to uproot my plants.
