Cloudy water

This problem happens to my 10 gal tank. 8 months after I first setted up the tank the water became a little bit cloudy. Then I completely cleaned the filter (it had a dirty filter back then) and the water turned clear again. However, the water turned cloudy again and this time I found the filter is not dirty at all. Can someone suggest what the problem might be? Thanks for the help!

Any changes to the system? New decorations, fish added or removed? Change in water change schedule or feeding?

The only change to the tank is that I added a feeding tank where 10 baby guppies live in it. I could not think anything else other than that .

Adding the babies most likely means more feeding, right? So the cloudiness is probably an imbalance in the micro fauna, while the various populations catch up with the change in available nutrients. Give it 3-5 days, and it should clear up on it's own.
