Looks almost like some sort of snail?
I have no idea.

Well, its definitely a snail... looks like a nerite to me.
Hmmm its a Heliacus species
not sure what one

Yup, needs to go, unless you don't like those zoanthids. They make short work of them.

Thank you so much!! i will take it out immediately.
Keep an eye out for more of them... The couple of times I have encountered them, where there was one, there were at least one or two more.
