Tangs

Do tangs require a tank that is long, or is it a matter of depth(front to back)? I have a 130 that is only 3 feet long, but it is also 3 feet tall, and 2 feet deep.

Also, will tangs bother polyps or mushrooms?

Tangs need lots of swimming room, preferably longer lengths so they can cruise, turn, cruise. Most will leave inverts alone--some can be a bit nippy, but usually not enough to damage anything, they are just trying to pick as algae or something on the rock.

Thanks for the quick reply! I'd been seeing that they were ok for a 125gallon tank, but I figured it wouldnt necessarily apply to my tank...different shape than a normal tank. Glad I asked! Thanks again! :)
