I have 6 corydoras in my tank and I was thinking about breeding them.
1. How do you do convince them to spawn?
2. How easy is it to breed them?
3. How do you tell the difference between male and female? (pictures if possible)
4. How do you care for the fry?
Thank you :)

female cories will look more plump in the belly area than males. during spawning, you will see the female put her mouth on the male, towards the anal area. she is actually ingesting the sperm and it travels through her to the eggs. cories have the neatest spawning behaviour!
here is my albino pair. male is on the left and female on the right. you can see that the female is more plump through the tummy.

i have read that you can induce spawning by making the tank a little bit cooler than usual (via a water change). this simulates the rainy season and that is when cories are likely to breed in the wild.
what cory species do you have?
my albino pair is constantly breeding, and my large female emerald lays eggs fairly often but i still haven't been able to catch her in the act of spawning to see who the hubby is (fairly well planted tank). eggs never make it though, due to the gluttonous barbs and livebearers, so i don't have the personal experience with raising babies. eggs do fungus easily though, so you want a lot of water movement/aeration and perhaps some methylyne blue on hand.

Sorry I was meant to say pygmy cories

i would think that breeding pygmies wouldn't be any different than breeding any of the regular size cories.
