Hello,
I have 3 discus currently in a 36 bow front, they'll be moving to a 55 at the end of the week. The tank also has a couple Amazon Sword plants, some them bamboo plants, and a couple that are sprouting from seeds right now. I have two Coralife Mini lights on it that have UV bulbs. I thought this might be good for plant growth, maybe? They need light is how a figured it at the time. Plus the discus look tight under that spectrum. Is there anything that can be negative about using UV in freshwater?h;

UV wavelength is too short for the plants to use for photosynthesis. Also, prolonged exposure to UV will damage the discus' eyesight. 6700K is much better for plant growth.
