sticky on freshwater products-read it!!

While it might seem logical to post FW Products in the "right" forum, people want to post in a forum more traveled in. I mean, this is general freshwater and if I was a newb here I would do the same thing. JM .2
This is really a moderator issue. They make the call on whether something fits in a given forum and they move it if it doesn't. It would be quite hard from someone new to the forums to completely grasp the rules for where something should be posted. That's what moderators do.
I would add that I don't feel all equipment-related discussion should be banished from this forum. It's hard to talk about fish stuff without also getting into the products and equipment.
Same thing with the newbie forum. Some product or equipment questions are quite appropriate for that forum. I think the mods do a pretty good job moving threads to the appropriate forums.
