Am I stocked?

Hi all,

I was wondering if I coudl get some opinions as to whether I can get any more fish? My tank is as follows.

(Almost) Heavily planted...
42 Gallon Hexagon

2 Beunos Aries Tetras and 3 Black Finned tetras (Which I'm GLAD to give away if anyone lives around Philly...)
1 Opaline Gourami
1 Blue Gourami
2 Red Tuxedos
2 Guppies (Female)
4 Baby Clown Loaches

I'd like to add some corys or something.. but am I too stocked? Again, I do have a lot of plants, and will be adding more...

Your not stocked yet. When those clown loaches get bigger you will pretty much be maxing out your load. But with all those plants... I dont think adding a few cories would hurt . You could add alot more fishies to that tank with all those plants im not sure hwo big the black finned tetras , or the 2 aries get. I fyou did get rid of them then ya add more fishies! You could prolly take thos efish u dont want back the lfs and get money back to buy other fish with. I had to do that with my big catfish that i bought when i was a nOOb the hobby.

I guess it depends on what the future of the tank is. If these are baby fish then it isn't understocked but for the adult version of these fish then yes. The loaches will need a much longer tank in the future. For now they are tiny.

Get the cories and in a couple years when the loaches are too big, trade them for smaller ones....
