Waste control treatment?

I got a bottle of something called "waste control treatment" with my starter kit of water conditioner.

Is this something worth using, or useless like the "cycle" is?

I don't have a problem with algae or anything yet, and I'm doing weekly water changes of about 20 - 30 percent.

So is this stuff crap or not?

Anne L, I have never heard of this product but IMHO these products are a waste of time, nothing substitutes regular maintenance (water changes, gravel cleaning etc.)

That's what I thought, too. Oh well, it's only a small bottle, so I didn't waste a lot of money or anything.
