Can someone tellabout their experience with tronic heaters?

I'm thinking about getting 2 200 watt tronic heaters for my new 72g tank, and wanted to know how they were.

I have a bunch of tronics and one ebo jager heater. Neither has failed me yet, and I haven't heard of anything bad about any of the heaters. However, if given a choice, I'd probably go with the tronics. I like how the tronic heaters are smaller than the ebo jagers.

I've been running Tronic 150W & 50W heaters and never had a problem. I also be setting up more 50Ws' in another month.

ive had numerous tronic heaters running for over 5 years now. No problems with any. Except of course, for the one i dropped on my floor :rolleyes:

You mean your tronic didn't survive a 5 foot drop to the floor? tsk tsk, you shoulda brought it in under warrenty. :D

Our tronics will only go on if the water gets below 73 F. even though they are set at 81 F. With our ebo jagers they went out after about 2 years of use. I wonder if it’s something with our aquarium? Maybe some stray voltage? :confused:

I have 4 Tronics and 4 Ebo Jabers. I have never had a problem with any of them. I would recommend them.
