When should I add them?

I'm getting 6 nickle sized angels in a week and was wondering how big they should be before I add them to my 55?

I have two penguin bio-wheel 350's on the tank and i don't want them to get stuck to the intakes and what not.
there will be nothing else in the tank except a twig catfish for the time being.

If by nickle sized you mean the bodies and not fin tip to fin tip, you can put them in now.
