Would a nice "6" red tail catfish get along with my cichlids i seen people do it before but cichlid are very aggressive anda catfish can swallow my baby Firemouth :(.They'll be in a nice 45Gallon tankmates maybe.............

Firemouthx2 "4" '6"
Convict "5"
Jaguar untill he hit 9inches he is out of there currently now "4" plz help..

umm well they will be fine until the red tail catfish grows larger then he'll eat any of them that he can fit in his mouth. I wouldn't do it. That is way too large of fish for a 45 gallon. Red tail catfish need something like 1000 gallon tanks because they get Huge

Ty i have a 150 that will probly work with Peacock bass too

i would keep the red tail in the largest tank you got with the largest fish you got and move him once he's able to fit the others in his mouth.

A rtc will grow from 3 inches and be between 18 and 24 inches within the first year. They can get 4 feet long and close to 100 lbs within 3 years if fed and housed properly. He will become very stunted if kept in a 150 gallon for very long. If you are not planning on a giant tank or a large indoor pond I wouldnt suggest keeping a rtc. The peacock bass can also become quite large being between 2 and 3 feet when grown. They will also outgrow the 150 in a short period of time.

i wouldnt suggest the rtc because they can get up to 4 feet trust me i have a 4'2" rtc and he lives in a 1500 gallon pond with a tiger shovel nose a arowana and some bala sharks
