View Full Version : Sick Discus?
I have a 90 with 8 discus. I have one about five inches that is not eating for two days now, hiding sometimes. NO syptoms... breathing good, normal stool, looks beautiful Nothing I can see. Checked water, I use RO filter, water tests great for ph, nitrates, ammonia.... everything great. HELP what do I do next?

How long have they been in the tank together?
Are there any new additions?
No new additions. I've had these guys since August. I have noticed that the bigger they get, the more they seem to pick on each other.

Could you give us the exact parameter readings? :) and what test are you using? What WC schedule are you doing?

I always found the closer they got to being adults...it stopped. Do you have any idea how old they are? I recently had a similar situation seemingly out of nowhere. One of my cobalts was chasing it's best friend and constant companion, a sister blue cobalt. Eventually I found that miss cobalt was pairing up with my male so Sis all of a sudden was an enemy. Any possibility of pairing beginning with two of them?
