Is it common for the same gender to fight. I think I have two male rams in a 20 gallon tank. One is slightly larger than the other and shows his colors off much more since he has claimed the tank his. I heard that they can be kept in groups buty it doesnt look that way. Does anyone have any idea why he is bullying the other one. I think hes going to stress him out to the point of death. They are the only two fish in the planted tank so I dont think overcrowding would be the issue. Would he do this if I put a female in, or are the males only nice during spawning?
