I have had 5 lemon tetras in quarentine for about a month. Last night I added them to my 55g tank. Today I noticed that know of them were schooling. In fact they were all defending a piece of tank from each other. Whats with this? They stayed in a very tight school the entire time they were in quarentine. Do yall think this is just because they are just getting used to there new tank, and given a little time to get used to the new tank they with will begin to school again? They arent being aggresive to each other. Just if one comes to close to another it will get chased off. I did my best to acclimate them. The temp in the 2 tanks were the same. I floated the bag for 15 minutes, then added some tank water from the new tank and floated it for another 15 minutes. I hope that this is there way of coping with the new tank and in a few days will go back to schooling. They look so good together when they are in a school.
Thanks,
Mike
