Well, a little less! But we have a new guest speaker lined up who will do a great presentation on killifish from Madagascar (I know, I only thought we got lemurs from there!).
Registration and attendance is free!
The 13th annual Southwest Area Killifish Event (SAKE) will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2011.
There will be a focus on both killifishes and livebearers this year. Additionally, we expect an excellent selection of aquatic plants to be available again this year. There is no registration fee to attend SAKE as the event is funded by a gigantic raffle, a silent auction, and a regular auction. To be successful, we rely upon both your contributions of aquarium fishes, aquatic plants, and live foods, and your participation in the raffle and auctions. The raffle will consist of products donated by various aquarium manufacturing and supply companies, as well as local aquarium and pet stores.

* Allen Wood (2011 Chairman of the American Livebearer Association): "A Fishroom for Livebearers or Evolution of a Fishroom"
