anyways, i was to wonder, if i put a slat water fish in my tank, would it die NOW, or would it just not be healthy, and cuz we put the gyppy in the salttank and its doingfind. so please.. yournowlecke would be grea

If I'm not mistaken, guppies are a brackish fish by nature. This would explain the reason for it doing well in a salty environment.

The fish wont be hydrated properly so it wouldn't be too healthy. Although, it greatly depends on the fish. I know someone who keeps an oscar in a brackish tank and its doing fine (probably because oscars can survive in harsh conditions.) I still wouldn't do it though.
