About 1am, way after the tank lights wer off I noticed 2 of my phantom tetras behaving really strangly. Both fish were fully "flared" thier dorsal fins were fully showing, and the bigger one was sorta hovering around a smaller one, and then the bigger one would then swim like 90 degrees sideways over top the smaller one brushing the smaller ones dorsal fin, then jerk away righting itself. They repeated this like 10 or so times.
Sorry it's kinda hard to explain but it looked really strange. Does anyone know if this is some sorta mating ritual, or was it more territorial?
