Sparkling gouramis?
Any chance of ever getting checkerboard barbs or golden dwarf barbs?
I just wish there were some other small barb besides cherry that was readily available!

There's nothing in particular that I'm looking for right now, but I imagine any rather unusual shrimp/snails would be popular. How about Japanese trapdoor snails (viviparus malleatus, or however it's spelled)? I think those are supposed to be good for pools and ponds and can even overwinter outside, so they'd be a pretty cool option for folks with water-filled holes in their back yards. Other critters people always seem to want: true Siamese algae eaters and blue ramshorns. :)

H20gal, I don't think anything except for SAEs possibly, would be on her import list...but yeah, I want some of those giant snails too! Especially since it's outdoor tub season :)

Those dwarf Zebra hovering Loaches are incredibly neato. I still want some normani lampeyes someday. Ive become addicted to collecting new Killies to breed, its a problem mean lil killi fry everywhere. OOH plus Ive been havin dreams of YELLOW Neocaridina heteropoda climbin on my Crypt.s & logs, so I think its a sign my C.pygmaeus need shrimp pals in there.

I already have some Heterandria formosa (least killies) but would love to get some Neoheterandria elegans. I hear they are hard to find though.
Do you have any long-finned White Clouds(Tanichthys albonubes), Rachel?
Thanks ;)

05-24-2011, 10:38 AM
I am actually today in the process of moving my meteor minnows (longfinned white clouds) outside to get them breeding. Should have babies in a month or so :) I am also planning on bringing in the emerald eye or vietnamese white cloud this order.
Otos may not happen as the list says "few' for availability. Considering some freshwater pipefish though as they look super cool!

They do look awesome, but aren't they super tricky? Live foods only?
msjinkzd
05-24-2011, 12:40 PM
Not sure yet. I raise live foods though, so they would get a good start. I have never had problems converting fish who "need" live food to prepared foods as long as I keep them in good condition before trying.

Hi Rachel! I'm working on a thread that will be ultra pic heavy, even as I write this, to show off all the great critters and plants I got from you, and now I want MORE.:grinyes:
Here's my list:
35 Chilis (you were sooooo right! 60 in the 20 long would be just right)
12 Cardinals (these go in the 40 with the Rummies)
4 Assassins
8 Amanos
6 Green Babaulti shrimp, if you have some of those, to add to the ones in the 40 B. (These guys don't multiply like the yellows I got from you.)
Plants: (a bushel basket full, lol)
Vals, if you can round some up, would be nice, or whatever stem plants you might have. I have 2.5 watts per gallon over that tank and I'm using Seachem Flouish, but haven't done CO2. I might do Excell, but I'm worried that it would melt Vals if I get those.
I need a lot more Sag. sublatta if you have any more of that.
I'm gonna try to order some Brazilian pennywort from Mgamer if he still has that.
I'll think on this some more to see if there's anything else I want to order.
Sorry I haven't gotten my order/wish list in sooner, I have been without internet for a week, and have had a few other bumps in the road, but I'm ready, now. Shoot me a pm or email the damages so I can do the paypal thing.
BTW, do you think I need to add quarantine time to the Cards before adding to my tank since you've had them for a while?
YAY!!!! More stuff!:headbang2:

06-05-2011, 12:29 PM
Hey Rach, do you think the Cardinals I've got on my wish list would work well to help my Rummies get over their shyness, or would adding a lot more Rummies be better? I know you have tank raised Cards right now, but I imagine you could order Rummies, as well, right?
I'm torn between the two: Rummies, or Cardinals, and tank raised Cardinals at that! They would be so pretty in the tank, but I want these Rummies to get over their trepidation, and a tank full of Rummies are a sight to behold, too. Whattaya think?
platytudes
06-05-2011, 1:08 PM
Mel, my rummies started coming out more when I added glowlight tetras in with them. They also seem to prefer dimmer lighting, but that isn't always possible in a planted tank...you could shade it with some frogbit, however!
Rachel, do you think it's too hot to send ember tetras priority ? I'd like to get some from you, but rather than pay express shipping I may try to convince my LFS to special order me some, if they can. I think I'd like to put 10 of them in my 20 long. It's empty except for a trio of female bettas who are surprisingly peaceful.

I would actually like it if you stocked Vampire Crabs. Im looking into getting them for my Paludarium build but IDK where to get them. Aquabid has a pair for $45 shipped but that seems a bit steep IMO.
msjinkzd
06-08-2011, 6:56 AM
That price is actually not that bad. They are wicked expensive to import and have a low rate of survival as wild caught stock. If you can get domestically bred, then you are golden. I am interested in bringing them in, but not sure when.
